December 27-29, 2020

INTRODUCTION

If you are new to our Ngondro Retreat facilitated by the Ngondro Camp of Virtual Achen Gar, please visit the following page for a short introduction https://gar.virtualachen.org/en/longsal-ngondro/

THE SECOND NGONDRO RETREAT is guided by Lakshyong Gyamtso lama and Choegye Drakpa Rinpoche.

Time:

  • Day 1 Sunday, December 27, 2020.
  • Day 2 Tuesday, December 29, 2020

Main focus of this retreat:

  • Outer preliminary meditation
  • The first two inner preliminaries – prostration and refuge

This retreat is the second phase of the essential instructions of Longsal Nyingpo preliminary practices. The specific practices and methods of the path will be based on the guidance and explanations of Lakshyong Gyamtso lama and Choegye Drakpa Rinpoche through on-line live stream classes. If some practitioners have never received the Lung, meaning the oral transmission of the practices, please listen to the Gyalwai Nyugu Rinpoche’s audio recording  or Choegye Drakpa Rinpoche video recording of the Lung (oral transmission) of Longsal Nyingpo or before or on the day of retreat.

Whether you are planning to start the Ngondro (preliminary practices), you are in the ongoing stage of practice, or you have already completed the practice and you want to re-establish, reinforce or self-examine the essentials of the practice, we believe that participating to this retreat will offer you vast practical insights and benefits.
